My name is Ken Karnack and I am the only Personal Training Sacramento Weight Loss Expert in you will ever need ONCE AND FOR ALL... You might think that as a personal trainer I would not know what is like to be overweight or skinny, well I have been both and I can tell you that one is just as bad as the other, emotionally.  When I was young, I was a skinny kid and I couldn't bench 100 pounds, no could I do a single pull-up, even at a weight of 138 and standing a soaking wet 5' 10".  Then soon after my senior year in high school, in 1986, starting working out with weights to get more confidence, stronger and just feel like a man.  So I joined the local Gold's Gym and never looked back. 

Now some 25 years later I stand at the same height, well slightly shorter, I weigh 221 and carry 14-15% body fat. A healthy weight and I gained almost 100 pounds of muscle.  A major feat for a skinny dude, right?

So you’re thinking show off, huh?  Well not really.  My point to you is that if I can do it so can you!  You’re probably thinking, hey man what does that have to do with weight loss?  Well I will tell you.  You see after I got hooked on working out, I mean really obsessed with it, I couldn't gain weight to save my life. I tried every new mass builder, shake, and increased my calories to over 8000 a day before I really started seeing any real improvements in size and strength. 

I am talking 12 eggs for breakfast with protein egg powder, a half box of cream of wheat and a piece of fruit, and that was just breakfast.  I had 40 pounds of chicken a month, pizza almost every day :) ... rice, potatoes, pasta by the box, and anything I could get my hands on.  However, after 15 years of all that food overworking my pancreas, everything came to a stretching halt.  No more muscle, weak, body fat climbed up to a whopping 25, 27%, it was miserable.  I racked my brain over this for months, then years.  I thought I had just gotten old and my body had seen its better days.  What was funny is that I thought I was big, had muscles, yet I could not flex and see any muscles, I just say a bunch of fat.  How did I go wrong? I then moved to California, San Diego to become a personal trainer.  My eyes were open to what a healthy looking person should look like.  I needed to lose weight, so I did.  30 pounds and I felt great, and my becoming a personal trainer was a perfect fit for me.

So what I did was started looking at other diet plans and set out to design my own.  It was not easy, but I did find a happy medium that anyone can follow.  I wanted it to be a diet plan that worked for everyone and that you could have your cake and eat it too.

Most Sacramento personal trainers are born with some genetic potential and lean abs.  Me on the other hand, well, I was born skinny and I also had a body fat of 23% in high school.  So I had to work at it, just like you.  You can lose weight, you can gain muscle, male or female.  You just need to understand how your body works and reduce your insulin levels. 

You do not need a bag of weight loss pills, synthetic drugs from your doctor, you do not need fat burners, and you do not need an anti-aging doc to tell you that "our products are natural."...
